WinSCP

WinSCP (Windows Secure Copy) is a free and open-source SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), WebDAV, Amazon S3, and secure copy protocol (SCP) client for Microsoft Windows. Its main function is secure file transfer between a local computer and a remote server. Beyond this, WinSCP offers basic file manager and file synchronization functionality. For secure transfers, it uses the Secure Shell protocol (SSH) and supports the SCP protocol in addition to SFTP.

To connect to your server, click on "New Session", then click "New Site" and then fill in the Protocol, Encryption type, Server, Username, Password of the server FTP

After connected to the server, the interface looks like this

Once connected, your computer directory will be on the left and the server directory will be on the right. This allows you to download, edit, rename, and any changes to the Server.
You can also transfer the file easily by dragging the file into the server and vice-versa

Confidentiality

The FTP server created need password which make the confidentiality of the server better.
Encryption has 2 options which consist of T LS/SSL Implicit encryption and TLS/SSL Explicit encryption.
Implicit SSL offers data encryption for the data channel after the connection between FTPS server and user is established.
Explicit SSL offers the client freedom security whereas FTPS server can allow the client security to continue insecure or refuse or limit the connection.
The other user can open, write or execute if the owner gives permission to the user.
The client must keep logging in every time open the WinSCP.

Integrity

WinSCP performs integrity checks but only SFTP and FTP protocols. This integrity check is performed by providing checksum.
WinSCP can log session events to a log file. Events can be logged into two formats which consist of Session log and XML log.
Different protocols are logged with the protocol that protocol used for log session

Availability

WinSCP supports access to Google Cloud Storage for cloud storage.
The speed for upload and download is very slow.
The recovery data if the source computer is a problem, needs third party software to open the registry file.
File in server can be downloaded into local computer and can be uploaded directly easily from local computer through winSCP.
